DePaul Expands Partnership with Marquee

CHICAGO – In continuation of a multi-year broadcast partnership, DePaul Athletics and Marquee Sports Network have announced the upcoming fall slate of programming, including 10 live events in Fall 2024. Additional games are expected to be aired live throughout the winter and spring seasons. In total this fall, the network will air five volleyball, three women's soccer and two men's soccer matches.

Additionally this year, Marquee Sports Network will also air exclusive DePaul programming, including The Blue Demon Room podcast.

This partnership continues as a part of a series of investments and strategic partnerships DePaul Athletics is making in broadcast and live streaming capabilities. In 2023, DePaul Athletics launched a comprehensive audit of its broadcasting services in collaboration with the BIG EAST Conference and Senior Associate Commissioner for Broadcasting, Scott Hecht, to develop a strategic growth plan. That plan has led to the installation of twelve HD cameras at the XS Tennis Village to support live streaming of DePaul men's and women's tennis matches, the purchase of mobile, live-streaming technology to support the future streaming of track and field meets, the installation of several new broadcast cameras to support DePaul's soccer, softball, and volleyball programs, and the creation of part-time, student positions to support broadcast and camera operations, as well as the exploration of interdisciplinary academic partnerships in broadcasting.
