BIG EAST Releases 2024-25 Men's Basketball Slate

Blue Demons open conference action Dec. 10
NEW YORK – The BIG EAST Conference has announced the 2024-25 men's basketball slate, including the dates for DePaul's 20 in-league games. Times and TV designations will be announced at a later date.
Chris Holtmann will kick off his return to the BIG EAST on Dec. 10 inside Wintrust Arena as DePaul hosts Providence for the conference season opener. It marks the first time DePaul has opened conference play at home since the 2019-20 season.
Before non-conference plays wraps up, DePaul will also face St. John's on the road, Dec. 17, in Carnesecca Arena.
The Blue Demons will then kick off 2025 playing host to the two-time reigning NCAA Champions, UConn, on Jan. 1. DePaul then heads out on the road for a pair of away games beginning Jan. 4 at Villanova, followed by a midweek tilt at Seton Hall, Jan. 8.
DePaul plays host to Xavier and nearby Marquette on Jan. 11 and Jan. 14, respectively. A trip back east will face DePaul off against Georgetown on Jan. 17.
The Blue Demons will play host to Creighton Jan. 25, followed by a road contest at Butler Jan. 25 and a trip to UConn on Jan. 29.
February begins with a home matchup against Seton Hall on Feb. 2, followed by a road trip to Villanova Feb. 5. After a bye weekend, the Blue Demons will head up north to Fiserv Forum against Marquette on Feb. 11.
Following a Feb. 15 matchup at Xavier, DePaul will host back-to-back home games beginning Feb. 19 against St. John's. The homestand wraps up against Butler, Feb. 22. The Blue Demons final two road contests come Feb. 26 at Creighton and March 5 at Providence.

As one of the strongest conferences in the country, the BIG EAST is coming off a postseason that saw eight teams reach the postseason, including the NCAA and NIT Champions. The BIG EAST has averaged 5.2 NCAA bids over the past 11 seasons, compiling a 22-6 (.786) NCAA record over the last two years, the best mark among all D1 Conferences.

Season ticket renewals for the 2024-25 men's basketball season have concluded. Current ticket holders that have yet to renew can call the ticket office to secure new seats for the upcoming season.
