Clarke, Newman to Miss Early Part of 2025-26 Season

CHICAGO – DePaul women's basketball head coach Jill M. Pizzotti announced Thursday that senior guard Kate Clarke and graduate forward Meg Newman will miss the early part of the 2025-26 season due to injury.
Clarke is sidelined with a hand injury, while Newman is recovering from a lower leg injury. Both are expected to return to play this season, with no definitive timetable set for their return.
DePaul hosts Milwaukee on Oct. 25 in its lone exhibition matchup of the preseason. Tipoff from McGrath-Phillips Arena is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. The regular season begins Nov. 4 when Valparaiso visits Wintrust Arena, with tipoff set for 6 p.m.
