Isaiah Rivera Named CSC Academic All-District

Rivera becomes the fourth Blue Demon all-time to receive honor
CHICAGO – Isaiah Rivera was recognized Tuesday by College Sports Communicators (CSC) as an Academic All-District honoree. Rivera becomes the fourth DePaul men's basketball player all-time to earn the honor, joining Max Strus (2019), Drake Diener (2004, 05) and Stephen Howard (1990, 91, 92).
To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District consideration, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore with a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average and must compete in 90 percent of the institutions contests or start in at least 66 percent of the matches.
Rivera was one of two Blue Demons to play in all 33 contests this season, including 22 starts. Rivera averaged 10.7 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 0.9 steals per game. The graduate student shot a team-high 40.9 percent from three-point range with 67 made three-pointers.
Rivera is a graduate student working on a master's in business administration with a specialty in business analytics and boasts a 3.5 grade-point average. He earned his undergraduate degree in 2024 from Illinois-Chicago with a 3.79 GPA.
