DePaul Women’s Basketball Signs Michelle Ojo

CHICAGO – DePaul women's basketball head coach Jill M. Pizzotti finalized her roster for the 2025-26 season on Wednesday with the addition of Michelle Ojo. The graduate transfer signed with the Blue Demons after spending three seasons at the University of Delaware and has one season of eligibility remaining.
"We're thrilled to complete our roster with Michelle Ojo, an experienced forward who brings strength and versatility to our interior game," Pizzotti said. "We were searching for that final piece, and we found it in Michelle. She's a highly effective paint scorer, plays with physicality, and has an incredible motor. Her skill set is a perfect fit for our DePaul Ball style of play, and we can't wait to see the impact she'll make."
At Delaware, Ojo made 59 appearances and four starts while averaging 6.1 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. She scored in double figures in 12 outings including a career-best 18 points against UNC Wilmington in the 2025 CAA Tournament. In 2022-23, she finished second on the Blue Hens squad with 22 blocks
"I chose DePaul because it felt like the perfect place to grow both on and off the court. The program's culture, the coaching staff, and the city's energy really stood out to me," said Ojo. "I'm looking forward to making the most of my final season, competing at a high level, building strong relationships with my teammates, and leaving it all out there one last time."
The Virginia Beach, Va. native began her career at George Washington where she appeared in nine games during the 2021-22 season.
In high school, Ojo led Princess Anne to a state championship in 2021. A First Team All-State selection as a senior, Ojo averaged 10.3 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.9 steals per game. She played on the Nike EYBL circuit with Boo Williams.
Ojo plans to pursue a master's degree in public health.
