DePaul to Take Part in the Emerald Coast Classic

DESTIN, FLA. – DePaul men's basketball was announced Wednesday, June 11 as a part of the four-team field for the 2025 Emerald Coast Classic, presented by Global Sports. The tournament is set to be played Thanksgiving weekend, Nov. 28-29, at Raider Arena on the campus of Northwest Florida State College.
DePaul will face Georgia Tech in a semifinal round game at 6 p.m. CT on Friday, Nov. 28. Drake and LSU round out the field and will face off at 8:30 p.m. CT. The third-place game will be played at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29 with the championship game scheduled for later that day. Both the semifinal round games as well as the championship game will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
The Blue Demons will compete in the Emerald Coast Classic for the first time. DePaul head coach Chris Holtmann led Ohio State to the 2023 Emerald Coast Classic Championship.
