DePaul Basketball Announces 2025-26 Non-Conference Schedule

CHICAGO – DePaul men's basketball announced its 2025-26 non-conference schedule, Thursday afternoon. The Blue Demons are set for their second season under the helm of head coach Chris Holtmann, who led DePaul to its second postseason appearance since 2005-06.
Game times and television designations, in addition to the conference schedule, will be announced at a later date.
Following a pair of exhibitions announced earlier this month, the Blue Demons season look to open their schedule Nov. 3 against Chicago State followed by the first meeting between DePaul and Stonehill on Nov. 7. DePaul then welcomes Buffalo into town for a Nov. 11 matchup.
After the teams extended their home-and-home agreement this spring, Northwestern comes to Wintrust Arena Nov. 14. After taking on the Wildcats, DePaul has another pair of home games against Gardner-Webb and Detroit Mercy on Nov. 18 and Nov. 23, respectively. It will be the Blue Demons' first meeting against Detroit Mercy since 2009.
DePaul closes out the month of November at the Emerald Coast Classic in Destin, Fla. from Nov. 28-29. The Blue Demons will face off on the opening day of the tournament against Georgia Tech and then play on the 29th against either LSU or Drake.
December opens with a contest against Arkansas Pine Bluff on Dec. 6 before the final home non-conference contest comes Dec. 9 against Morgan State.
The Blue Demons final non-conference contest is set for Dec. 13 at Wichita State, as the return game to last year's victory inside Wintrust Arena.
DePaul is set to return three of its top four leading scorers from last season in CJ Gunn, Layden Blocker and NJ Benson. The Blue Demons also welcome a talented transfer class including All-AAC honoree Kaleb Banks.
