BIG EAST Conference Unveils 2025-26 Women’s Basketball Schedule

Blue Demons open league slate Dec. 4 vs. Marquette at Wintrust Arena
NEW YORK – The BIG EAST Conference unveiled its 2025-26 women's basketball schedule on Friday morning, laying out the 20-game league slate for DePaul with television designations and tipoff times to be announced in the coming weeks.
For the first time since the 2022-23 season, conference play features a double round robin schedule with each program playing the other 10 member institutions home and away.
Head coach Jill M. Pizzotti and the Blue Demons will begin the conference season at home when longtime foe Marquette visits Wintrust Arena Dec. 4. A date with the 2025 National Champion Connecticut Huskies is next for Pizzotti and Co. Dec. 7 inside Gampel Pavilion.
After dipping back into non-conference action, DePaul will return to the league slate for good with a trip to Creighton slated for Dec. 20. Holiday hoops continue when Villanova travels to the Windy City Dec. 29.
DePaul rings in 2026 in the Big Apple against St. John's Jan. 1. Back-to-back weekend games at home ensue for the Blue Demons when Providence (Jan. 4) and Georgetown (Jan. 10) visit the South Loop.
The heart of the conference calendar rolls on Jan. 13 when DePaul meets Xavier at Cintas Center before returning home to host Seton Hall Jan. 17. The halfway point of the regular season arrives Jan. 21 with the Blue Demons traveling down I-65 to square off against Butler.
On Jan. 25, the Blue Demons will welcome Creighton to town for the 30th all-time meeting between the two programs before closing out the month with consecutive road games at Marquette (Jan. 28) and Villanova (Jan. 31).
While celebrating National Girls and Women in Sports Day, DePaul will host Connecticut Feb. 4 at Wintrust Arena. After a week off from competition, the Blue Demons remain in Chicago for their second matchup of the season versus St. John's Feb. 10.
A critical road stretch begins with a trip to South Orange, N.J. Feb. 14 to face Seton Hall before traveling to take on Providence Feb. 18.
The Blue Demons close out the month of February with a pair of home games against Xavier (Feb. 22) and Butler (Feb. 25) before closing out the regular season on the road with a visit to Georgetown on March 1.
The 2026 BIG EAST Women's Basketball Tournament returns to Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. for a sixth-straight year, March 6-9
DePaul begins the 2025-26 regular season on Nov. 4 against Valparaiso at Wintrust Arena. The Blue Demons are set to play an exhibition against Milwaukee on Saturday, Oct. 25 at McGrath-Phillips Arena in Lincoln Park. Admission to the preseason tune up is free.
