Joshua Hill Named BIG EAST Field Athlete of the Week

Freshman earns honor in second collegiate meet
CHICAGO – DePaul track and field freshman Joshua Hill was named BIG EAST Men's Field Athlete of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.
Hill earned the honor following his performance in the long jump at North Central College's Pat Heenan Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 17. He recorded a mark of 7.02 meters in his second collegiate competition as a Blue Demon, which ranks second in the BIG EAST this season.
The Crete, Illinois native earned the weekly honor with the top long jump mark of the meet.
