CHICAGO – DePaul women's basketball head coach Jill M. Pizzotti announced Thursday the signing of guard Ofek Talker, who joins the Blue Demons with two years of eligibility remaining.
Talker, a 5-foot-5 guard from Gan Yavne, Israel, comes to DePaul after three seasons with Hapoel Be'er Sheva (2023-26). She averaged 7.5 points, 1.8 assists and 1.5 rebounds per game in 2025-26. Talker previously played for Ramat HaSharon from 2021-23.
"We are very excited to add depth and experience to our guard corps," Pizzotti said. "Ofek is a versatile guard who can score in a variety of ways and has the ability to play both the point guard and shooting guard positions. We are thrilled to welcome her to our program and Chicago!"
Talker and the Blue Demons open the 2026-27 season Tuesday, Nov. 3, against Evansville. Fans can get their first look at this year's squad at DePaul's preseason exhibition against UIC on Friday, Oct. 16, at McGrath-Phillips Arena.
