DePaul Powers Past Oakland and Cleveland State at Rocket Indoor Invitational
TOLEDO, Ohio – Bolstered by an undefeated performance from senior Sasha Sakura Stula and sophomore Clara Nilsson in doubles, the DePaul women's tennis team capped off their team fall campaign with wins over Oakland and Cleveland State (CSU) at the Rocket Indoor Invitational from Oct. 30-31.
DePaul dominated out of the gates on Friday morning, sweeping Oakland in doubles for the teams' first outing. Sakura Stula and Nilsson took their first of three doubles wins with a 7-5 victory on the No. 1 doubles court; Roberta Sechi and Yasemin Pehlivan earned a 6-3 win on the No. 2 doubles court; and Helin Alvarez and Leni Prankl notched a 6-2 result on the No. 3 doubles court.
