CHICAGO – DePaul men's basketball has signed Arizona State transfer, Noah Meeusen, for the upcoming 2026-27 season. Meeusen played his first collegiate season at Arizona State where he appeared in 30 games for the Sun Devils with 11 starts. He comes to DePaul with two remaining years of eligibility after being one of the top international prospects last season.
"We are excited to welcome Noah to Chicago and the DePaul basketball family," said head coach Chris Holtmann. "He has competed at a high level internationally and in the Big 12, and we believe he's ready to step in and make an immediate impact on both ends of the floor."
A native of Zandvliet, Belgium, Meeusen averaged 5.9 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.4 steals per game in 2025-26 at ASU. He shot 31 percent from three-point range for the Sun Devils and had a career-high 16 points with five assists against #1 Arizona on 4-of-7 shooting from deep.
A 6-5 guard, Meeusen will be DePaul's first ever player from Belgium. Prior to arriving in Tempe, he was ranked by DraftExpress as the No. 15 2005-born international prospect. He played for Filou Oostende in the BNXT League where he was named Rising Star of the League in 2024 and helped his team to a league leading 26-10 record.
Meeusen has also represented his native Belgium at the FIBA Europe level. Most recently he was a part of the 2024 FIBA U20 Europe team where he averaged 10.3 points, 2.6 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 1.6 steals. Meeusen was also a member of the all-tournament team at the 2023 FIBA U18 Europe tournament after averaging 17.9 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.0 steals.
