DePaul finishes under par in a conference tournament for first time in program history

HARDEEVILLE, S.C. – DePaul golf closed out a strong BIG EAST Championship, with a program championship-best score of 862 (-2) for a fifth-place overall finish. It marks the first time the Blue Demons have finished under par in a conference tournament and the highest placement since 2019.

In head coach Ryan Jamison's first season, DePaul's 862 ranks as the seventh-best team round of 52 in records dating back to 2000.

Rohan Gopaldas had the top individual finish for the Blue Demons, tying for ninth overall with a 212 (-4) after finishing even in Monday's final round. Dominic Lucchesi ended his second BIG EAST Championship in 18th to give DePaul a pair of top-25 finishers. Freshman North Chery and Senior Billy Gneiser tied in 35th overall with 221 (+5). Chery ended Monday with a 72 (E), tying with Gopaldas for the Blue Demons best round of the day. Matthew Rastogi rounded out DePaul's competitors with a 222 (+6) overall.
