An experienced leader and caddie, Ryan Jamison was named head coach of his alma mater's men's golf program in July 2025. Jamison returns to Lincoln Park with 15 years of coaching expereince and five seasons as a professional caddie on the PGA and Korn Ferry Tour.Â

Jamison most recently spent the past five years as a PGA Tour caddie for Akshay Bhatia, Quade Cummins, Isaiah Salinda, Justin Suh and Brandon Wu. In 2024, Jamison and Bhatia teamed up to win the Valero Texas Open. Jamison also has caddie experience at events including the US Open, PGA Championship and the Master’s. Jamison helped guide Suh to the 2023 Korn Ferry Tour Championship where Suh won Player of the Year.
An experienced head coach and proven talent developer, Jamison previously served three seasons as head coach at Florida Atlantic University, where he guided the program to its highest-ever national ranking (#85) in 2021. Throughout his three seasons, Jamison tallied a 57.4 win percentage, the highest in FAU men's golf history. Under his leadership, the Owls posted a program-record 289.05 stroke average and improved more than 75 spots in the Golfweek national rankings. He mentored a pair of golfers, Enrqiue Dimayuga and Max Sturdza to All-Conference USA honors. Additionally, under Jamison's guidance Dimayuga became the first FAU golfer to play in the NCAA Regionals since 2009.Â

Prior to FAU, Jamison spent two seasons at Stanford University as an assistant coach, helping the Cardinal reach back-to-back NCAA Men’s Golf Championship Finals. He helped lead the recruiting efforts for Stanford’s top-ranked 2020 signing class and was a nominee for the Jan Strickland Assistant Coach of the Year Award. While at Stanford, he coached two All-Americans, including the No. 1-ranked amateur in the world and Ben Hogan Award winner, Maverick McNealy.

Jamison’s first head coaching role came at Nova Southeastern University, where he led the program to the 2015 NCAA Division II National Championship. He was named the 2015 Division II Dave Williams National Coach of the Year after coaching 12 All-Americans and the Division II National Player of the Year during his four-year tenure. In his first season as head coach at Nova Southeastern, Jamison led the team to its first-ever South Regional Championship and a third place finish at the NCAA National Championship. He followed that up with a runner-up finish in 2014 before securing the National Championship in his third season.Â

He began his coaching career as an assistant at Nova Southeastern before returning to DePaul for two seasons as an assistant coach, helping the Blue Demons achieve their highest BIG EAST Conference finish at the time in 2012.

A four-year letter winner at DePaul from 2001-05, Jamison earned his bachelor’s degree in commerce before completing an MBA in sports management from DePaul’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business in 2013.
