DePaul Men's Soccer Unveils 2026 Schedule

Blue Demons home opener set for Aug. 27 vs. Western Illinois
CHICAGO – DePaul men's soccer has announced its 2026 schedule, a 17-match slate that includes eight BIG EAST Conference matchups and a mix of regional and national competition. The slate features six teams that competed in the 2025 NCAA Tournament.
Head coach Mark Plotkin's squad opens preseason play with three exhibitions, hosting Saint Louis Aug. 8 and Indian Hills Community College Aug. 12, before a road tune-up at Wisconsin Aug. 15.
The regular season kicks off Aug. 20 at Bradley, followed by a quick turnaround to Ohio State Aug. 24. DePaul returns to Wish Field for its home opener Aug. 27 against Western Illinois, then hits the road for a pair of Chicago-area rivalry matches, visiting Loyola Chicago Aug. 30 and UIC Sept. 3, before hosting Chicago State Sept. 6 and traveling to Bowling Green Sept. 11.
BIG EAST play begins Sept. 18 with a home date against Xavier, kicking off a stretch that includes a trip to Seton Hall Sept. 26 and a home match with Akron Oct. 2. Non-conference action returns Oct. 6 with a road match at Louisville, before the Blue Demons head back into league play at UConn Oct. 10.
DePaul closes out its home slate with back-to-back BIG EAST matches, hosting St. John's Oct. 16 and Marquette Oct. 24, sandwiched around a non-conference match with Western Michigan Oct. 20. The regular season wraps with consecutive road trips to BIG EAST foes Butler Oct. 31 and Creighton Nov. 7.
DePaul will look to carry its momentum into BIG EAST play with hopes of qualifying for the 2026 BIG EAST Championship, which will be held in Boyds, Md., with the top four teams in the conference squaring off in the semifinals Nov. 12 and championship match Nov. 15.
All home matches will be played at Wish Field at Cacciatore Stadium, with admission free to the public. All times are listed in Central.
DePaul returns 16 letterwinners from the 2025 squad, while adding six newcomers this spring and five true freshmen in August.
