DePaul Women's Basketball Earns WBCA Academic Top 25 Special Mention

Blue Demons post 3.528 team GPA, rank second among BIG EAST programs recognized
CHICAGO – DePaul women's basketball was recognized as a special mention in the 2025-26 Women's Basketball Association (WBCA) Academic Top 25 Team Honor Rolls, announced Tuesday by the association.
DePaul posted a combined team grade-point average of 3.528 for the 2025-26 season, placing the Blue Demons among the top academic programs in NCAA Division I women's basketball nationally. DePaul is one of eight BIG EAST programs recognized, joining Creighton, Georgetown, Marquette, St. John's, Seton Hall, Villanova and Xavier, and ranks second among league members in GPA.
The Blue Demons have earned special mention in four of the last five seasons, with the team's GPA ranking seventh in Division I in 2024-25.
The WBCA Academic Top 25 recognizes teams across the country that carry the highest combined GPA among all student-athletes on their roster for the entire season. To qualify, a team must post a combined GPA of 3.0 or better and be nominated by its head coach, who must be a WBCA member. The 2025-26 season marked the 31st year the WBCA has compiled the honor rolls.
Wisconsin-Green Bay topped NCAA Division I for the second consecutive year with a 3.965 team GPA, the best mark across all five collegiate membership divisions the WBCA recognizes.
