Noeh Hernandez Named to Preseason All-BIG EAST Team Ahead of Senior Campaign

CHICAGO – DePaul men's soccer senior midfielder Noeh Hernandez was named to the Preseason All-BIG EAST Team Tuesday morning as the league released its preseason coaches' poll and major award winners ahead of the 2026 season. The selection was made by a vote of the conference's 12 head coaches who weren't permitted to vote for their own programs.

In the coaches' poll, the Blue Demons were selected to finish fifth in the Midwest Division while Akron was picked to win the league. Georgetown was voted the favorite in the East Division.

Hernandez, the 2024 BIG EAST Midfielder of the Year, returns for his senior campaign after ranking second on the team with three goals in 2025. The Bridgeview, Ill. native led DePaul with 48 shots, including 18 on goal, a total that ranked third among all BIG EAST players a season ago. Hernandez scored the game-winner in DePaul's 2-1 victory over Loyola Chicago at Wish Field Sept. 7.

In three seasons with the Blue Demons, Hernandez has tallied 16 goals and 11 assists for 43 points across 46 appearances. His 43 career points rank 14th in the program record book.

The Blue Demons open the 2026 season Thursday, Aug. 20 at Bradley. Kickoff from Shea Stadium in Peoria is set for 6 p.m.
