DePaul Women's Basketball Adds Emily Bojan for 2026-27

Graduate transfer returns to Chicago after four-year softball career at Wisconsin
CHICAGO – DePaul women's basketball has added forward Emily Bojan for the 2026-27 season, head coach Jill M. Pizzotti announced Tuesday. Bojan joins the Blue Demons as a graduate transfer after four seasons at Wisconsin, where she competed as a softball student-athlete.
A 5-foot-11 native of Chicago, Bojan returns to basketball after starring at Marist High School from 2018-22, where she was a four-year varsity basketball player and set the school record for total rebounds in a season and in a single game. She earned Chicago Tribune All-Area honors as a junior and ESCC All-Conference recognition as a senior.
"We're excited about the opportunity to bring a player like Emily to our roster. It's rare when you can add someone with her competitive edge, her unselfish energy, and her work ethic, all while welcoming a Chicago native back home," said Pizzotti. "Emily is a great fit for our program, and we're thrilled for her to close out her collegiate career as a Blue Demon."
Bojan lettered at Wisconsin from 2022-26, where she developed into one of the Badgers' most consistent offensive threats on the softball diamond. In 2026, she started all 54 games and put together a 35-game on-base streak, the second-longest in program history. She finished her softball career with more than 100 hits and was a steady presence in the Badgers' lineup.
Bojan earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Wisconsin and is pursuing a Master of Education degree in Special Education at DePaul.
