DePaul Men's Soccer Earns United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for 22nd-Consecutive Year

Blue Demons post 3.759 GPA in 2025-26 academic year
CHICAGO – For the 22nd-consecutive year, the DePaul University men's soccer program was recognized by United Soccer Coaches as a recipient of the College Team Academic Award. The award recognizes teams that post an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
The Blue Demons compiled a 3.759 cumulative GPA at the conclusion of the 2025-26 academic year, joining 326 men's programs honored across all three divisions. Additionally, DePaul was one of 175 schools that had both its men's and women's programs recipients of the award this year.
The recognition comes on the heels of DePaul also earning the BIG EAST's Team Academic Excellence Award, extending the program's streak to nine-straight years with a GPA above 3.65.
Head Coach Mark Plotkin and his 2026 squad will open its three-game preseason slate Saturday, Aug. 8 against fourth-ranked Saint Louis. The Blue Demons and Billikens will face off at 3 p.m. from Wish Field. Admission is free for all fans.
