Averaged at least 20 points per game in all four seasons of high school basketball... averaged 23.3 points per game during senior campaign... scored at least 30 points in five games during final season including a season-high 41 points in the state regional final.
Set a Wisconsin state record of 46 points in the state tournament semifinal game as a junior... finished junior season with scoring average of 22.9 points per game and held an average of 22.2 points per game as a sophomore.
Played at Cedarburg for his father, Tom Diener.

Son of Tom and Christina Diener... has two sisters, Katie and Clare.
Tom played at UW-Green Bay from 1979-81 and was inducted into the Phoenix Hall of Fame in 2004... cousin, Drake, played at DePaul from 2001-05... cousin, Travis, played at Marquette (2001-05) and NBA (2005-10)... cousin, Drew, played at Saint Louis.
