The silver-medal finish places New Zealand in the U19 FIBA World Cup.
Averaged 11.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 5.6 assists in seven games in Thailand during the tournament
The 5.6 assists per game ranked second among all players
Ranked second in assists per game, tied for 23rd in points per game and tied for 26th in rebounds per game

Pero, is a 2017 FIBA Hall of Fame inductee and played in two Olympics games for New Zealand (2000 and 2004)
Pero led the Tall Blacks to a semifinal run in the 2002 FIBA Basketball World Cup that earned him All-Star Five honors.
