Values & Guiding Principles
- Ensuring the highest level of safety of all student-athletes in the physical preparation process by providing safe training environments and proper progressions designed for the individual.
- Collaborating with sports medicine to construct integrated training emphasizing injury reduction and, in return, maximizing the student-athletes' athletic career and long-term health.
- Continuing our own individual development as coaches through continuing education, networking and research to assist and reinforce the design and implementation of training that is scientifically supported.
- Promote a winning environment.
- Focusing on the development of student-athletes' character and life skills by consistently coaching, challenging and guiding them by the Vincentian values and traditions.
- Constructing training protocols specific to the demands of the sport and individual, ensuring the highest level of efficiency and transfer to sport.
- Providing practical and scholastic opportunities for young sports performance professionals to receive experience volunteering within the Division-I collegiate setting.
