High School:
- Three-time letterwinner at St. Ignatius College Prep in Chicago
- Led the Wolfpack to an IHSA regional title as a senior
- St. Ignatius was also co-champions of the Chicago Catholic League and finished with a 23-5 record

- Has a brother, Steven
- Lisa is the director of professional, corporate and community relations for the DePaul's women's basketball program
- She was the women's basketball head coach at UIC from 2002-11 after an 11-year stint at DePaul as an assistant and associate head coach
- Lisa played collegiately at Loyola-Chicago (1980-84) and professionally for DBC Aalst Women's Basketball Club from 1984-89
- Bart, a native of Belgium, also played professionally in Belgium and is an archivist at the Art Institute of Chicago
- Health Science major in the College of Science and Health
