Career
- Two-time member of BIG EAST All-Academic Team
2018 (Senior):
- Started in four matches for the Blue Demons
- Saw 324 minutes of action on the field across nine matches
- Put up two shots – one apiece at Kentucky (8/24) and vs. Creighton (10/27).
2017 (Junior):
- Started in all 18 matches, recording a squad-most 1,678 minutes
- Was one of three Blue Demons to start and play in every match
- Pivotal member of the defensive line that recorded two shutouts
- Attempted four shots on the season.
2016 (Sophomore):
- Appeared in 11 matches and made eight starts as an integral member of the Blue Demon back line
- Fired a shot on goal versus Northern Kentucky.
2015 (Freshman):
- Started in all 19 games for the Blue Demons
- Helped solidify the back line in his rookie season with his consistent, dependable play
- Recorded 1,744 minutes of play to lead all field players
- Fired off six shots on the year with five coming against conference opponents.
High School:
- Another stalwart defender to strengthen the back line, Sell joins fellow German players Hans Wustling and Philipp Koenigstein in Lincoln Park while defender Koray Yesilli from Germany graduated in June, 2015 with a Masters’ degree
