Pat DeLaney joined the DePaul coaching staff in January 2026 and serves as the Blue Demons' goalkeeper coach.
DeLaney brings several years of coaching experience to Chicago, most recently spending three seasons as an assistant men's soccer coach at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
Before his time at Rose-Hulman, DeLaney served as an assistant coach at The Phelps School near Philadelphia after a stint at Haverford College during the 2022 season. Prior to Haverford, he was an assistant women's soccer coach at Ursinus College and worked as a goalkeeper coach with FC Delco, where he trained athletes ranging from the U-8 to U-19 levels.
A 2020 graduate of James Madison, DeLaney earned a bachelor's degree in sport and recreation management with a minor in business.
