Baba Diallo

Baba Diallo is in his third season with the DePaul program and his first as the team's video coordinator. In his first two seasons under Dave Leitao, Diallo was an assistant director of basketball operations.
As video coordinator, Diallo assists the coaching staff with video breakdown of practices and games as well as opponent scouting reports. He spent two seasons as a graduate assistant at Tulsa prior to joining the Blue Demons in June 2015.
In his first season on the DePaul staff, Diallo assisted Leitao in laying the foundation for sustained future success in the program. The Blue Demons recorded a pair of wins over ranked opponents including DePaul's highest-ranked win since Dec. 2006 with a victory over No. 11 Providence in February. The 21-point win over No. 20 George Washington was the largest margin of victory in program history by an unranked DePaul team over a ranked opponent. Off the court, the team placed an impressive 11 players on the BIG EAST All-Academic Team and was honored with the NABC's Team Academic Excellence Award. Individually, Eli Cain was named to the BIG EAST’s All-Freshman Team.
The 2016-17 season saw the Blue Demons claim their second straight NABC Team Academic Excellence Award.
Diallo joined the Tulsa men's basketball program as a graduate manager beginning with the 2013-14 season. He worked with Leitao at Tulsa during the 2014-15 campaign under head coach Frank Haith. The Golden Hurricane posted 23 wins that season while advancing to the second round of the NIT.
He came to Tulsa after graduating from Baker University in Baldwin City, Kan., in May 2013 with a bachelor's degree in exercise science. He played basketball for two seasons at Baker from 2011-13. Diallo completed his graduate degree in mathematical science at Tulsa in 2015.
Diallo, whose given name is Abdourahmane, is a native of Dakar, Senegal.
