Northwestern Women's Tennis Topples Blue Demons

Evanston, Ill. (Jan. 18) - In a dual meet hosted by Northwestern Jan. 17, the Wildcats handed DePaul its first head-to-head loss of the season.
Northwestern swept the meet 9-0, with DePaul's Sylvia Kelemen, Kadi Hilpus and Natalie Matko posting the best showings. Keleman lost 6-3, 6-2 at number two singles while Hilpus and Matko fell 6-3, 6-1 and 6-1, 6-3 respectively.
The team plays next in a triangular meet in Bloomington, Ind. The Blue Demons will face Western Michigan at 10 a.m. and Miami (Ohio) at 3 p.m.
