Blue Demons Lose Road Finale

ST. LOUIS – The women’s soccer team lost their final road match of the season, 6-0, on Sunday afternoon at Saint Louis. The Billikens scored three times in each half as six different players found the net.
The Billikens peppered DePaul goalkeeper Lauren Geiger as they outshot the Blue Demons 15-2. Anny Lucier, Jamie Perry and Ismahan Mohsen scored in the first period for Saint Louis.
The final three scores of the match came in the first six minutes of the second half as Erin Schwetye, Carrie Carlson and Shannon Myers found the net.
With the defeat, the Blue Demons drop to 6-11-1 overall and 0-8-1 in league play. The Blue Demons host Marquette in their final game of the season on Nov. 3 at Wish Field. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.
