Sienna Gonzales Earns All-BIG EAST Third Team Honors

Forward recognized among league’s top performers
CHICAGO – DePaul women's soccer graduate student Sienna Gonzales was named to the All-BIG EAST Third Team, the league announced Wednesday. The honor marks the first All-Conference selection of Gonzales' career, capping a strong final campaign for the Blue Demons.
Gonzales led DePaul in nearly every attacking category this fall, pacing the team in shots (42) and shots on goal (16) while tying for the team lead in goals (3) and ranking second in points (7). Her offensive output placed her among the BIG EAST's top 10 in total shots, averaging 2.33 per match.
The graduate forward appeared in all 18 contests, making 12 starts and logging over 1,000 minutes of action. She found the back of the net in DePaul's wins over Seton Hall and Creighton, and again in the regular-season finale against Providence, scoring in three of the Blue Demons' final five matches. Her consistency and ability to generate chances made her one of the most active forwards in the conference.
