Kelemen Earns C-USA Player of the Week Honor

CHICAGO--DePaul's Szilvia Kelemen has been named the Conference USA Women's Tennis Player of the Week the league announced January 22.
Kelemen went 2-0 in singles and 2-1 in doubles as the Blue Demons beat Chicago State and Eastern Illinois on Jan. 18 but fell to Michigan on Jan. 20. Against Michigan, the junior defeated Kavitha Tipirneni 7-6, 7-5. Tipirneni had been ranked 14th in the region entering the weekend.
"It was a great win for Szilvia and a great way to start for her," head coach Mark Ardizzone said.
The Blue Demons sit at 2-1 on the season and travel to Evanston Wedenesday to face Northwestern.
