Moffett Finishes Second, On To NCAA Meet

NORMAL, Ill. - DePaul's Erin Moffett became the first DePaul women's cross country runner to qualify for the NCAA Cross Country Championships when she finished second at the annual NCAA Regional Championships on Saturday at the Illinois State University Golf Course.
Moffett, a junior from Lake Zurich, Ill., finished the 6K course in 20:27.51. Kansas State's Amy Mortimer won the event in 20:26.39.
The Blue Demons finished 10th as a team.
Leah Rygh was second for DePaul and 25th overall in 21:37.50 while Marlene Key took 73rd overall in 22:28.68
