Women's Tennis Sweeps Big Weekend

CHICAGO – The DePaul women’s tennis team solidified their national ranking this weekend with a pair of big wins beating Minnesota 5-2 on Friday and Colorado 4-3 on Saturday. Both matches were in Minneapolis.
With the victories, the Blue Demons improved their dual record to 8-2 on the season.
In Friday’s win, DePaul earned the doubles point with victories by Szilvia Kelemen ana Marina Parashkevova at No. 1 and Natalie Matko and Kadi Hilpus at No. 2. In singles action, Hilpus, both Natalie and Stephanie Matko and Karen Falduto won to secure the victory.
Saturday’s match started similar to Friday with both the No. 1 and 2 doubles teams winning while Kelemen won at No. 1 singles and the Matko twins each posted victories.
