DePaul Bowls Over The Falcons

CHICAGO - The women's tennis team beat Bowling Green on Friday night at home 7-0. The Blue Demons (6-5) gave perfect performances denying the Falcons a single set.
In doubles action, DePaul captured each match. Szilvia Kelemen and Marina Parashkevova played in the No. 1 spot and dominated their opponents.
Natalie Matko and Brenda Leung paired up to crush the Falcons in the No. 2 spot 8-1.
The singles matches fared similarly as Kelemen and Parashkevova owned their opponents beating them 6-2, 6-0 and 6-1, 6-1 respectively.
In the No. 3 spot, Brenda Leung outplayed Gabby Coello to win fairly easily, 6-3, 6-0. T
he last three singles matches were closer but each hung on to clinch the shut out including Karen Falduto who beat Heidi Roemer 7-6, 6-4.
