Kelemen Earns Player of the Week Honors

CHICAGO – Szilvia Kelemen was named C-USA Player of the Week for her outstanding efforts that led DePaul to defeat conference foes Cincinnati and No. 75 Memphis. 

On Saturday, the senior from Budapest beat Cincinnati’s Lyndsey Molony 6-3, 7-6 in No. 1 singles. 

Kelemen also displayed her prowess in doubles with Marina Parashkevova against Bearcats Molony and Khushchehr Italia.  The duo earned an 8-6 victory. 

Kelemen continued her success on Sunday as they faced Memphis.  Against No.1 Tiger Sabrina Lindemann, Kelemen kept her poise to top her opponent 6-4, 6-4.
