Hoskin Honored As C-USA Player of the Week

CHICAGO – Sam Hoskin has been named the Conference USA Player of the Week it was announced by league today.

Hoskin helped DePaul to a pair of Conference USA home wins last week, including a 79-76 overtime win over No. 15 Louisville. For the week, Hoskin averaged a double-double of 22 points and 13 rebounds and shot 56 percent from the floor and 89 percent from the line. Against the Cardinals, he had a 21-point, 14-rebound performance and hit two clutch free throws to send the game into overtime with no time left in regulation. In the regular-season finale versus Houston, he had 23 points and pulled in 12 boards in the 65-59 win. Hoskin helped seal the victory over UH by making four free throws in the closing minutes. He notched his seventh and eighth double-doubles of the season.
