PALOS HILLS, Ill. – Three members of the women’s team and two from the men’s cross country team competed in the UIC Home Opener on Saturday morning. Olivia Conlon was the top women’s finisher while Rick Britton paced the DePaul men.
Conlon finished 24th overall in the women’s two-mile race in 13:16. Others running for the Blue Demons included Emily Prettyman in 30th at 13:57 and Elizabeth Stiles-Shields finishing in 32nd with a time of 14:04.
Britton was 16th overall in the men’s 4.1-mile course. He finished the race in 21:39 and was followed by Kim Trieu in 21st at 21:55.
