DePaul is 7-6 overall and 0-2 in Conference USA after falling to Cincinnati 90-65 on Saturday at the Shoemaker Center. Memphis is 9-3 and 0-1 after losing at Southern Miss 66-63 on Saturday.

Memphis leads the all-time series 13-11. The two teams did not meet last season and the Tigers won the last meeting 88-61 on February 23, 2002 at The Pyramid in Memphis. DePaul's last win in the series came on March 9, 2000 80-76 in the Conference USA Tournament in Memphis. The last time the Tigers played in Rosemont was January 15, 1997 - a 51-49 Memphis win.

Coaches

DePaul’s Dave Leitao is in his second season with the Blue Demons and is 23-19. Leitao is 45-54 in four seasons as a head coach and has never faced the Tigers. John Calipari is in his fourth season at Memphis and his 12th as a head coach. He is 273-105 overall, including an 80-34 slate with the Tigers. He is 3-1 against DePaul.
