Top Doubles Team Paces Women's Tennis

BLOOMINGON, Ind. – DePaul’s top doubles tandem of Marina Parashkevova and Petra Rehusova posted a pair of victories to highlight the Blue Demons’ performance at the Indiana Invitational over the weekend.

Parashkevova, a senior, and Rehusova, a sophomore, beat both Purdue and Indiana’s No. 1 teams by identical 8-4 scores.

The Blue Demons swept Purdue in doubles play as sophomore Gergana Ganeva and freshman Beatrix Csordas won at No. 2 while junior Brenda Leung and freshman Anja Mihaldinec were victorious at No 3.

DePaul had singles victories during the weekend from freshman Bojana Murisic, Parashkevova and Rehusova.
