Soccer Buzz Great Lakes All-Region
CHICAGO – DePaul women’s soccer player Julianne Sitch was recently picked as one of the top players in the Great Lakes Region by the National Soccer Coaches Association of Amercia (NSCAA) and Soccer Buzz. The junior midfielder was named to the region’s second team by both the NSCAA and Soccer Buzz.
Sitch led the Blue Demons this season with 25 points on nine goals and seven assists. She picked up first team All-Conference USA honors for the second consecutive season and was also one of 10 student-athletes and only current player named to C-USA’s All-Decade team.
In her three seasons at DePaul, she holds the career records for goals, assists and points. In 62 career matches, she has totaled 77 points on 29 goals and 19 assists.
The 2004 season was the final year for the Blue Demons in Conference USA as they open the 2005 campaign as a member of the BIG EAST Conference.
