CHICAGO - The DePaul women's tennis team used a dominating performance from every part of the lineup to shutout UIC 7-0 on Wednesday at UIC.
The highlight of the day was the No. 1 doubles tandem of Marina Parashkevova and Beatrix Csordas posting their 20th-consecutive victory this season with an 8-2 win over Iris Jacklin and Molly Smith.
The Blue Demons improved to 3-0 in outdoor matches this season and 14-7 overall.
"It was a really strong performance from the whole team," DePaul head coach Mark Ardizzone said. "We really need to get experience in outdoor matches and have only surrendered two points in those matches."
"Marina and Bea have been simply dominating," Ardizzone said. "Their winning streak is easily one of the best achievements in the history of DePaul Tennis."
The Blue Demons will travel to Marquette Saturday for a key conference match.
