CHICAGO – The DePaul women’s tennis team posted a 5-2 win over Illinois State in its home opening dual on Friday at the Lakeshore Athletic Club.
DePaul took the doubles point by winning both the No. 1 and No. 2 slots and then took four of the six singles matches.
“It was nice to get a win on our home courts,” DePaul head coach Mark Ardizzone said. “Our top three continued to play great. We will need to keep getting better in each match to reach our goals.”
