CHICAGO – The DePaul women’s tennis team put on a dominating performance and beat Drake 7-0 on Sunday at the Five Seasons Racquet Club in Burr Ridge, Ill.
“I think we played our best match of the year today,” DePaul head coach Mark Ardizzone said. “Drake is a good team and we never let them get into the match. It was really nice to play two very good matches back to back.
“The top three continued to shine and I was really pleased with the play of Bojana Murisic this weekend. She played four great matches,” Ardizzone said.
The Blue Demons opened the match by taking the doubles point with two victories before sweeping the singles competition.
DePaul is back in action on Friday when it hosts Ball State at the Lakeshore Athletic Club.
