Women's Tennis Bounces Back with a Pair of Sweeps

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The DePaul women’s tennis team dropped a hard-faught match to Purdue on Saturday but bounced back in a big way on Sunday by sweeping Bowling Green and Butler at the Butler Tennis Bubble.
DePaul didn’t lose a set the entire day en route to the 7-0 victories.
“The team responded well after Purdue match,” DePaul head coach Mark Ardizzone said. "I thought we came back and played very hard after losing to a great Purdue team. We got a chance to play some different doubles combinations and get some people a little more playing time up higher in the line up.
“We are looking forward to the challenge of playing two more nationally ranked teams next weekend,” Ardizzone added.
The Blue Demons travel to Western Michigan on Friday and play at Indiana on Sunday.
