The Records

DePaul is 12-8 and 3-3 in the BIG EAST Conference after losing to Louisville, 59-50, on Saturday at the Allstate Arena. Georgetown is 13-5 and 3-2 after beating Seton Hall, 74-58, on Friday in East Rutherford, N.J.

The Series

Georgetown leads the all-time series 14-6 and has won the last five contests. The last meeting between the two was a 64-44 Hoya victory on January 31, 2006 at the Allstate Arena. The last DePaul win in the series came on January 22, 1994 when DePaul posted a 78-51 victory in Rosemont.  Current streak: Georgetown won 5.

The Last Meeting

Roy Hibbert scored 17 points and Georgetown used an early 18-0 run to beat DePaul, 64-44, on January 31, 2006 at the Allstate Arena. Draelon Burns led the Blue Demons with 12.

The Coaches

Jerry Wainwright is in his second season at DePaul and his 13th as a head coach. He is 210-167 overall and 24-23 with the Blue Demons. Wainwright is 0-1 against the Hoyas. John Thompson III is in his seventh season as a head coach and his third at Georgetown. He is 123-70 overall and 55-28 with the Hoyas. Thompson is 1-0 against the Blue Demons.
