Women's Soccer Expands Summer Camp Program

CHICAGO - The DePaul women's soccer team has expanded its 2011 summer camp program to include an overnight college prep camp exclusively designed for student-athletes intent on playing college soccer.
Overnight campers will be housed in student dormitories just like the Blue Demon soccer players and will experience DePaul campus life in the upscale Lincoln Park community.
The overnight camp is for girls from the age of 14-18. There is also a pair of day-camp sessions available for girls from the age of 5-13.

All camps will be directed by DePaul head coach Erin Chastain, assistant coaches Michele O'Brien and Tina Estrada. Additional leadership will be provided by Blue Demon women's soccer players.
Here's a rundown on the camps.
Day Camp 1
June 27-30
9 a.m-Noon AND/OR 1-4 p.m. (Campers may attend one or both sessions)
Cost: $200---($350 for both sessions)
Day Camp 2
July 11-14 9 a.m.-Noon
Cost: $200
Overnight College Prep Camp
July 14-17
Cost: $575 ($475 for commuters)
The mission of the DePaul Girls' Soccer Camp is to develop the youth soccer player through a singular and consistent philosophy. That entails positive instruction by role models in providing a nurturing environment for each individual player to gain self-confidence, self-motivation and self-discipline.
