Rogowski Named to BIG EAST Honor Roll

CHICAGO - DePaul junior guard Megan Rogowski was named to the BIG EAST Conference Women's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll it was announced on Monday by the league office. The honor is the first of the season for Rogowski and the second of her career.
The Prospect Heights native scored 19 points in DePaul's 96-85 loss to No. 5/6 Kentucky last week. Her 19 points come on 7-of-17 shooting (.411) which included a 4-of-11 (.364) effort from behind the arc. She also added two rebounds, an assist, block and steal in 35 minutes of action.
Andrea White was named the conference's Player of the Week while her teammate Natalie Butler was named the Freshman of the Week. Taylor Schippers (Butler), Apiew Ojulu (Marquette), Ka-Deidre Simmons (Seton Hall) and Emily Leer (Villanova) all joined Rogowski on the Honor Roll.
Earlier today, DePaul defeated Dartmouth, 90-76 behind 18 points from Rogowski.
The Blue Demons head to Las Vegas for the Duel in the Desert, Dec. 19-21. DePaul opens the tournament with a 2 p.m. (CT) game against Pittsburgh before playing Washington and Louisiana-Monroe the next two days at 4:30 p.m.
