
Hrynko Named to BIG EAST Honor Roll

CHICAGO - DePaul senior guard Brittany Hrynko was named to the BIG EAST Conference Weekly Honor Roll it was announced by the league office on Monday.
Hrynko scored a season-high 32 points in DePaul's, 93-94 heartbreaking overtime loss to No. 5/5 Notre last week.
The senior from Philadelphia was 12-of-23 from the field (.522) which included a 3-of-8 (.375) effort from behind the 3-point arc. Hrynko also added five rebounds, five assists and four steals in 41 minutes of action.
Seton Hall's Tabatha Richardson-Smith was named the conference's Player of the Week and Creighton's Sydney Lamberty was the Freshman of the Week.
This is Hrynko's first honor roll accolade of the season, while she earned BIG EAST Player of the Week honors last week.
The No. 25 Blue Demons return to the court on Wednesday at Loyola-Chicago. DePaul and the Ramblers tip at 11 a.m. in Rodgers Park.
