
DePaul Enters Associated Press Poll at No. 23

CHICAGO - The DePaul women's basketball team debuted in this season's Associated Press Poll at No. 23 today. The Blue Demons have been ranked as high as No. 19 in ESPN/Coaches' Poll this season.
DePaul (5-1) boasts a 5-0 record on its home court and is preparing to host No. 1 Connecticut on Wed., Dec. 2. The Blue Demons' lone loss of the season came on the road at then-No. 5/4 Baylor on Nov. 22 in the championship game of the Preseason WNIT.
DePaul's first ranking of the season in the AP Poll comes after a week that saw the Blue Demons top Chicago State 88-42 and Colgate 96-46.
Averaging 87.0 points and forcing their opponents into nearly 25 turnovers per game the Blue Demons "DePaulBall" style of play has been showcased early this season. The Blue Demons boast an assist on close to 66 percent of its baskets while all but three players have at least one assist on the season.
Tickets are still available for Wednesday's 6:30 p.m. tilt with No. 1 Connecticut. The game with the Huskies will also be broadcast on FS1 with LaChina Robinson and Tim Brando on the call.
