CHICAGO - Just 24 hours after receiving her latest academic accolade, DePaul's Elise Wyatt was recognized again by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).
On Friday, Wyatt was named to the 2015 NSCAA NCAA Division I and II Women's Scholar All-North/Central Region First Team---one day after being selected for the NSCAA Division I and II Scholar All-America Third Team.
Friday's award was Wyatt's fourth of the postseason and made it a clean sweep of potential academic accolades.
On Oct. 29 she was named CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team, and on Nov. 24, the senior from Victoria, British Columbia was selected to the CoSIDA Academic All-America First Team.
She was the only BIG EAST Conference student-athlete named to the CoSIDA first team.
This has been quite an impressive accomplishment for the talented forward, winning all four of the possible postseason women's soccer academic awards.
Wyatt posted a 3.60 grade-point average and is a finance major. In addition to academics, athletic accomplishments were part of the criteria in the selection process for all four awards.
Wyatt led the Blue Demons to a berth in the BIG EAST Championship and set the program's career record for goals with 35.
Her 12 goals this season tied the single-season mark shared by Julianne Sitch (2003) and Abby Reed (2014).
Wyatt's career numbers of 35 goals and 17 assists gave her 87 career points---three shy of all-time leader Sitch (2002-05). Wyatt is tied for third all-time in career assists.
The four-year standout notched a pair of hat tricks this season with each offensive outburst accompanied by the NSCAA National Player of the Week award. She finished the season with 12 goals and five assists for 29 points.
