MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- Eighth-ranked Alabama brought DePaul's eight-match winning streak to an end on Saturday afternoon at the Blue Gray National Tennis Classic.
The 4-0 defeat dropped DePaul's overall record to 8-3.
Alabama took the doubles points with victories in the No. 1 and No. 3 matches. All singles matches were decided in two sets; Patricia Fargas fell in No. 3 singles, Ana Vladutu fell in the No. 4 match and Jasmin Kling dropped the No. 5 contest.
DePaul will will play No. 22 Ohio State in the tournament's third place game to wrap things up in Alabama tomorrow. Match time is scheduled for 9:30 a.m.
